Thursday, 07-01-10, 9:28New Site!!!!Hey Everybody! As you can see, VFA has been redesigned and reworked to enhance what was a good site into a great site. We listened to all the suggestions and recommendations from the community, and have made it easier for the art to be voted on, as well as for the artists to submit.
The biggest change of all is what we are now calling "Open Contests" and "Timed Contests." {FAQ}As their names imply, open contests will be sponsored by organizations, and will not have any specific deadlines. They'll remain open indefinitely, and once a design creates enough buzz and gets enough votes, it'll be sold in our online store. That mean if the VFA community wants to see a design sold in the store...it'll be sold in the store. Anywhere from 0-1,000,000 tees could be chosen from any one open contests, as long as it becomes popular enough. Artists will then receive [$100 upfront, $1 for every t-shirt sale and a $50 bonus for every 100 t-shirts sold. So if your tee is bought online 500 times, you'd make a quick $850!].
Timed contests are the traditional contests that you're already used to. The only difference is that soon you can buy both the winners and other shirts that received a good amount of votes in our online store.
